Hiring Marianne was one of the best decisions of our entire project. Our renovation project consisted of a new kitchen, new layout for the open concept main floor, new hardwood floors throughout, new staircase to the second floor, new upstairs bathroom, new doors, lighting, new layout for the basement, new living room furniture. In other words, our project was quite ambitious and complex. During the entire process, Marianne was very helpful, creative, attentive to our needs, responsive and a pleasure to work with. It can be overwhelming when looking at such a large project, however, Marianne always had answers. We were referred to Marianne by a friend when we talked about our frustration in trying to achieve “the right” design for the full renovation of our kitchen. Marianne brought fresh thinking, creativity and professionalism to our project, which resulted in a kitchen that we love! She was the only one to recognize that by moving a doorway by just a few feet we could achieve a design which is visually vastly superior while also significantly improving functionality. We retained Marianne to help us renovate our two-bedroom condominium. The renovation included gutting the kitchen and master bathroom, replacing the floors, doors, repainting, adding crown molding and installing built-ins in the living room and master bedroom. We wanted to achieve a quietly elegant space that was warm and inviting. Marianne’s recommendations on everything ranging from paint color and tile finishes to flooring and molding were spot on and resulted in a look that was far better than anything we could have achieved on our own.
